Hi Alessandro,
my understanding of erp5 is that it's more a framework than a "closed"
product like Compiere or all the other ERPs, open source or not. There
is nothing to see because you are supposed to build your ERP together
with your customer. You have all the building blocks and this is how
it's supposed to work, actually it's how "zope" works.
Soon we should get a demo which is like "plone" a kind of prototype to
start with, I guess will be derived from Comray implementation.
The powerful idea behind this, allowed by Python and Zope technology, is
the flexibility that you can have to create complex business
applications that match the customers' processes rather the the
opposite, where is the customer that has to adapt to the ERP processes
(which are per sure good but also in some way general to be good for as
many customers as possible). This is essential for small and medium
company (SME) that can compete with bigger ones thanks to their speed
and flexibility.
