Hi,

Just in case, here are the various tests made on the official buildout
many times a day.

For example, here:
  http://mail.tiolive.com/pipermail/erp5-report/20110101/064584.html
  http://mail.tiolive.com/pipermail/erp5-report/20110103/064658.html
you can see that the build process succeeds on OpenSuSE

For example, here:
  http://mail.tiolive.com/pipermail/erp5-report/20110104/064742.html
you can see that the build process was failing for Mandriva (this will be fixed)

The testing system source code is here:
  http://svn.erp5.org/erp5/trunk/utils/erp5.appliance.test/

This way, it is possible to rebuild ERP5 many times a day and make sure
that it still works, even with new releases or updates of any GNU/Linux
distribution. You can set this test on your own distro quite easily.
For example, there is no Meego, Android, Red Flag, Archlinux buildout test
yet although it is probably feasible.

What is still missing is a distributed cache for source packages so
that in case of failure of one server, it is still possible to run the
full buildout. This is more a buildout common issue, which we consider
fixing by extending buildout core and contributing back to buildout
community.

Regards,

JPS.
