You will not be able (for now) to follow tutorials if you use an other installation process. However, Brazilian community of ERP5 (http://www.softwarepublico.gov.br/ver-comunidade?community_id=23731755) is currently working to port TioLive Grid to ERP5 trunk.

PS. FYI, all engineers in Nexedi are trained this way. 300+ students in universities have also been trained this way.
