Well - ok. It was discussed almost year ago. But no progress has been
made with that.

And on second thought I do not think that merging wiki with HB is not so
great. From writer point of view - it is ok. But from reader point of
view - and documentation is created for readers not writers, it is
not so readable then. Eg. django project made such step - there is a
wiki, which is very technical, and a book, which is written
"future-proof" - which is great introduction to django's wiki. As
django book do not cover details too deep and is supported by core, it
is great introduction for primer. There are references both ways. Book
is _acceptable_ update. "future-proofnes" is implemented by not going
to deep. Everyone knows where to contribute. Readers are happy.

I've got some experience with supporting ERP5's primers. I'm not
experienced ERP5'iser ;) - so I'm not able to provide them enough
support myself. What I see, that people are driven crazy, while hitting
wiki. But after some introduction with HB they are able to ask good
questions - directly to me or to mailing list. And also - they are ABLE
to use wiki and contribute (to wiki, lists, HB, etc).

And as HB and wiki are written to different audience I think it shall
not be merged.

What might be good, that HB my be put into core's machines, using moin
markup. But - please, why? Is it good to invest time AND money to
provide good infrastructure to book-like wiki if there EXISTS one,
which is on wiki?

From other point of view - without merging there is possibility for HB
to move fast-forward - as it will be "unofficial", and you might
explicit cut "responsibility" about HB content. And that do not have to
stop anyone - Nexedi welcome of course :) - from helping both projects
to improve.

Regards,
Luke

PS. My English is not good enough sometimes - I'm trying to be as clear
as possible, but there might be some misunderstands.
