[Erp5-users] Issues evaluating ERP5 for review

Hi, I am a university student of the Politecnico di Milano (Italy). My
thesis is about open source ERPs, I must classify currently available
solutions according to technology used, functional coverage etc. ERP5 is
clearly a candidate, but it has given me headaches.

    * My primary objective is to gain info about what business processes
      the templates cover in sufficient detail to be able to compare it
      with other ERPs. The whitepapers I found on the wiki site aren't
      too detailed, is there anything more specific?
    * Lacking appropriate info, I tried the LiveCD on my laptop,
      but after I update from SVN/download/install/try to access a
      template a "not found" page appears on the browser. What gives?
    * Are ERP5 RPMs compatible with Ubuntu (the distro I use)? If so,
      how do I make them work?

Any help or pointers would be appreciated! My work would also
indirectly promote ERP5, so... ;-)
