Hello.

i want to run the lesson about creating a forum. I use the VM version of
ERP5. Do I need a special management account for that, or can I use the tux
account?

Hello,

for programming you need a special account where the user name is "zope" and 
the initial password is "insecure".

I highly recommend to do first all the user tutorials here:
