As I see, wincvs is a client for CVS protocol. ERP5 source code is 
available via SVN protocol, which is different. You should use svn 
client (I know nothing bout Win clients, but there are some for sure). 
Then, refer to http://www.erp5.org/DownloadSourceCode how to download 
and install ERP5 from source code.
