Try to use VMWare Server. Create new virtual machine under VMWare 
(select "Linux" as guest operating system and then "Mandriva" as version).

Then boot the virtual machine from livecd. You can safely format hard 
disk then, as its virtual only.

This is the simplest way to get working ERP5 under Windows at the 
moment. No need to install and configure Linux.
