Hi,
when I'm trying to compile zope-2.7.8 on HP-UX , Getting following errors.
names=filter(lambda x: x[0]!='.',names)
File "/opt/iexpress/python/lib/python2.3/glob.py", line 49, in <lambda>
names=filter(lambda x: x[0]!='.',names)
IndexError: string index out of range

You must use Zope 2.7 (current default version) or Zope 2.8 (fairly stable
now) with ERP5. It is not ported to Zope 3 at the moment (no idea if it's
planned or not, but it should not happend in near future).

I never had to build python from source (works with stock python 2.4 from
mandriva 2006, 2007 and 2007.1, other distros & distros versions are not
tested but should work out of the box), so I'm sorry I cannot help you here.
