Mostly entering accounting reports, but you can also export you accounts
to a spreadsheet and ask your accountant to produce reports with his own
software.

The accounting in ERP5 is "universal". It works is every country as long
you provide a mapping from the universal model to the local model. This
is also useful whenever a company needs to migrate from one chart of
accounts to another with a intermediate situation in which accounts must
be presented using two charts at the same time.
If you provide me a standard chart of accounts for UK (but I have the
impression that such a thing does not exist in most countries of Common
Law), I will enter it in ERP5.

ERP5 is web based.

I have no idea since I do not use Sugar. What I can say is that in some
areas, such as security, workflow, offline synchronisation and mobile
user interface, it is likely to be ahead.

Yes.

Not that I know.

We had to study this case once for a company in Europe. It was mostly a
project / budget related issue. It was quite feasable to adapt ERP5 to
this industry in reasonable time.

Yes.

The only advice I can give you is to get propper training and support
for your project, whatever the solution you select.
