Hello,

I encountered this error and it turned out to be an mysql problem.
In fact the table was not created because the KEY `Type`
(`meta_type`,`portal_type`),
is too big.
I simply changed `portal_type` varchar(255) default to `portal_type`
varchar(255) default
in ERP5Catalog/sql/erp5_mysql/z_create_catalog.zsql.
I hope this does not break anything, as i did not crare, it was a demo
only.
I assume this is only a problem with mysql 3.23.
