[Erp5-users] rc2 LiveCD problem

Hello,

Though the livecd works fine on my workstation PCs but when tried on my
laptop, I had to give #livecd nopaic , similar to the entry (#linux
nopaic)while installing mandake, to avoid the "hda: no response" or
"hda:timed out" error.

Though the boot process completed successfully to the extent of the
login prompt on the text consoles where i could successfully login as
root, the X-server failed to start without any error messages.

Any help or suggestions shall be highly appreciated.
