Dear Jean-Paul Smets,

Thanks for your quickly response.I understand your feeling in shanghai last autumn.
I knew that erp5's developer arrived in shanghai, but I could not meet for some reasons.
About the translating and localising that you mentioned,I think it is impossible that officials decide to sponsor.
free software or open source software companies are difficult continuous operation in this phase in here.
so please understand those companies, they need living in a competitive environment.

I am glad to spend part time to ERP5.Could you evaluate the workload of the translating and localising?
Because I have full time job in daytime.we need more peoples join in the work, if workload is large.
How did you make your japanese translation?officials sponsor or community sponsor?

Bugs fix and easy install are more important, business user manual or training material are also necessary.
I hope i can learn more about ERP5, especially, usage, business process and development.
If there are some sample data in the live CD,it will make a intuitionistic concept.

I would like to keep in touch with you for erp5 related discussion.

Thanks & Regards
Liming Dong

Dear Dong,

I was in Shanghai for ERP5 last autumn. I agree there is a huge future.

However, none of the officials we met was ready to sponsor a translation /
localisation. And the free software companies we met there had a very tough
time making money with local chinese companies (most of their revenue was
from supporting Linux in foreign companies based in Shanghai)

So, I suppose that the only way things might evolve is either:
	- someone in the Chinese community (you?) starts translating and localising
	- chinese officials decide to sponsor localisation

I see no other way at this time.

Regards,

JPS.
