Doesn't matter, I wouldn't use it as a basis for enterprise applications
anyway. >;->

Because:

- for a company, PostgreSQL is cheaper.
- for typical enterprise applications, PostgreSQL provides certain
(required) features.

> and caches many things into RAM (as Linux 
> does for fs). With the right indices, this performance can be obtained.

So essentially no fundamental difference here compared to any kind of
well-configured SQL database with a schema carefully designed considering
query patterns and caching algorithms...?
