For first tries the _best_ solution is to use one machine with about
1GB RAM, one free HD inside and CD - boot the LiveCD[1] and start to
play.

If you are really, really sure that you wouldn't like to try _best_
solution with LiveCD[1] it depends on system which you have installed.
AFAIK there is no installer for Windows version[2], but it is possible
to run it on Mandriva Linux[3]. If you are using another Linux
distribution try out documentation about installing from source[4],
look into Nexedi repository[5] for packages for other distribution
(they are in early state - treat them as reference to what to do) or
use virtualisation[7] (not recommended for production machines!) like
VMWare or with Mandriva as guest.

First try out documentation[6] and then ask detailed questions. ERP5's
wiki is searchable by page titles *and* page content.

PS. It is looking quite hard to play with ERP5 alone but company I work
for is a living proof that it is possible - so do not surrender to
fast. ;)
